【Why did you start loveka?】
I have a 2year-old daughter, and being a mother is a blessing beyond words. A woman conceives a child, and a woman gives birth.
I believe that is truly remarkable.However, working mothers need society's understanding.
The reality is that an environment of acceptance for working mothers is not yet fully in place.
Should I be restricted from working and pursuing what I love just because I am a mother?
I believe many women struggle with these conflicting feelings.
I see myself as a woman first, and a mother second. I want to value myself not only as a mother but also as a woman.
Empowering women to embrace their own identities, beyond their roles as mothers or wives, is something I believe in deeply.
That desire for women's empowerment is not wrong.
I am happiest when I am doing what I love, and I believe those positive feelings are passed on to my daughter as well.
That is why I started loveka on my favorite island, Bali—so I could do what I love.
Since these are clothes we wear every day, I focus on using the best materials and ensuring comfort.
We use plant dyeing to highlight the beauty of Bali’s natural techniques and its connection to nature.
The creation of loveka has deepened my relationship with Bali’s nature and its people, and it has made me appreciate the island even more.
The people who support loveka are filled with great energy, and I make an effort to personally visit them, even if it takes time, to express my gratitude and respect.
The finished clothes are infused with that wonderful energy and heartfelt intention.
Though we are a small, newly established brand, we will continue to grow step by step, in harmony with the island of Bali.
Lastly, I want to express my deep respect for all women.
Their strength is truly incredible. Through loveka, I hope to contribute to women's empowerment, helping them feel confident and comfortable in their daily lives.
I hope loveka can be a source of comfort and empowerment for women, and that’s why I am so passionate about creating these products every day.

なぜlovekaを始めたのですか？
私は2歳の娘がいます。母であることは、言葉にできないほど素晴らしいことです。
女性が新しい命を育て、そして出産する。
それは本当に素晴らしいことだと思います。
しかし、働く母親には社会の理解が必要です。現実として、働く母親が受け入れられる環境はまだ十分に整っていません。
母親だからという理由で、働くことや自分の好きなことをすることを制限されるべきでしょうか？
私は、多くの女性がこのような葛藤を抱えていると感じています。
私たちは、まず女性であり、その次に母親です。
母親や妻という役割を超えて、女性が自分自身のアイデンティティを大切にすることはとても重要であり、女性のエンパワーメントを信じています。
私は、自分が好きなことをしているときのHAPPYな気持ちは娘にも伝わっていると信じています。
なので私は自分の好きなことをするために、私の大好きなバリ島でlovekaを始めました。
毎日着る服だからこそ、素材や着心地にこだわり、バリの自然を活かした草木染めの技術の素晴らしさを伝えれたら。
lovekaを通して、バリの自然や人々とのつながりが深まり、バリ島をさらに愛するようになりました。
lovekaを支えてくれる人々は、エネルギーに満ち溢れており、私は時間がかかっても、感謝と尊敬を伝えるために、彼らに直接会いに行くようにしています。
